TikTok is our go-to source for inspiration, especially when it comes to makeup. While we love to sit back and watch a full-length YouTube video, TikTok is a different experience. You come across products that you never knew you needed, with quickfire tutorials and hauls showing you the latest beauty releases.

Just like Instagram, TikTok is no strange to beauty influencers. In fact, it’s given us a new generation of makeup influencers who have grown their online following solely off the video sharing app. We’re taking a look at the most influential makeup TikTokers to let you know which ones are worth following. These are the creatives that are leading the way and changing the beauty industry every day.

Abby Roberts – 17.1million followers


If you’ve ever been on TikTok, then the chances are that you’ve seen Abby Roberts. This British makeup artist is one of the most famous users on the platform. She credits her success with makeup on watching YouTube influencers like Jaclyn Hill and NikkieTutorials to teach her the basics.

Abby is known for her dramatic makeup looks, everchanging hair colour, and brand collaborations. Her videos regularly get over one views, often showing her creating some of the app’s most popular makeup trends.

Mari Maria –18.1 million followers


This Brazilian beauty influencer is famous for her transformation tutorials, in amongst sharing content of her husband and son. She has 18.1 million followers and over 300 million likes on her TikTok page. Her makeup tutorials are filmed in ways that incorporate the latest filming trends on the app, keeping her content fresh and original. Mari is the perfect TikToker to follow if you love a wearable makeup look that you can style for day or night.

Glamzilla – 1.1million followers


One of our favourite beauty influencers on TikTok is @glamzilla. She’s always sharing the latest product launches and beauty hacks, making her a must-follow if you want to stay ahead of the beauty news. Stephanie Valentine is an Ontario-based professional makeup artist known for her bold and fearless body positivity.

Mikayla Nogueira – 8.2 million followers


Mikayla is the sweetheart of the TikTok beauty community and an influencer who has grown with the platform. The 23-year-old is known for trying the latest beauty releases and makeup hacks. She offers flawless makeup tutorials, alongside candid reviews, and personal videos. Mikayla started on TikTok in March 2020 after she lost her job at Ulta due to the pandemic. Her first video blew up and the rest is history.

Danielle Marcan – 1.7 million followers


Danielle is a so-called “makeup guru wannabe” with over 1.7 million followers. She’s always ahead of the trends with her beauty tutorials, offering a mixture of wearable looks with statement styles. You’ll find a mixture of beauty and skincare content, alongside dramatic ‘TikTok’ makeup. We’re obsessed with her recent Black Swan series for Halloween 2021.

Michelle Phan – 402.8K followers


Michelle Phan was one of the original beauty influencers on YouTube. The influencer was one of the first to experience commercial success and took a break from YouTube before returning to social media, including TikTok. She primarily uses the platform to promote her EM Cosmetics beauty brand, with her signature calm and tranquillity.  

TikTok is our favourite place to go when we’re in need of beauty inspiration. With its short videos, TikTok offers everything that you need – from tutorials to product reviews and hacks. These are just eight of our favourite beauty TikTokers, but the list could be endless.

Skincarebyhyram – 6.6 million followers


Although Hyram focuses primarily on skincare, his TikTok account is a must-have for any beauty enthusiast. He’s one of the leading skincare influencers on the internet and is praised for educating a generation of beauty followers on how to understand skincare and the importance of specific ingredients. Your beauty routine starts with your skincare, meaning that you need to up your skincare game to the same level as your makeup routine.

Eden Harvz – 2.7 million followers


Eden is the unofficial big sister of TikTok. Her videos include a mixture of beauty content, on-trend sounds, and self-help videos where her goal is simply to make you break a smile.
